We tossed around a few ideas before settling on one that certainly piqued my interest. Most everyone looking for a new experience and different golf courses has found the popular attractions. Legends on the Niagara, Royal Niagara and Hunters Pointe are jewels a short distance away in Canada. Peek'nPeak's upper course in Findley Lake in the Southern Tier is gorgeous.
Take a closer look around, lengthen your driving just a bit, and you'll realize there are numerous public and semi private courses you can play at a reasonable price. Today, we travel outside Erie county looking for five quality courses that people should consider when they're looking for a fresh layout.
The criteria are simple: all must be within 90 minutes from Buffalo, $45 or less including cart, and be in good condition. You'll walk away knowing it was a good deal.
